Referee Brendan Malone was at the centre of late controversy as his decision to award Port Vale a 93rd-minute penalty helped earn the visitors a 2-2 Sky Bet League 1 draw at Swindon.
Malone allowed a corner to be taken in the build-up to the goal despite Swindon full-back Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill requiring treatment after clearing the ball to hand Vale the set-piece.
The official then bemused the home players by pointing to the spot for a handball by Jordan Turnbull from the controversial set piece and Sam Foley stepped up to slot home the spot-kick and earn Vale a point.
Earlier, Fabien Robert opened the scoring before Uche Ikpeazu equalised for Vale to leave the teams locked at 1-1 at the break.
