France go into the World Cup play-offs on the back of a win after they saw off Austria 3-1 in Paris.

Serbia have secured automatic qualification for the 2010 World Cup after thrashing Romania 5-0.

Fifa have announced that the eight teams entering the European play-offs for World Cup 2010 will be seeded.

France and Serbia fought out a frustrating draw in Belgrade, as did Austria in Bucharest.

France have allowed Austria back into contention for second place in Group Seven after another home draw.
