Lee Mansell scored twice - including a last-minute leveller - to help Torquay come from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers.
Rene Howe latched on to Joe Oastler's late clearance and sent it towards goal, where Mansell got his foot to the ball to send it over Rovers goalkeeper Scott Bevan and ensure the spoils were shared. Matt Harrold fired Rovers ahead with a 25-yard strike that took a late deflection to beat Bobby Olejnik in first-half stoppage time. Torquay pressed for a leveller in the second half but on the counter attack Rovers' former Gulls striker Chris Zebroski broke from the halfway line and raced away to make it 2-0 in the 69th minute. Mansell hauled United back into the match almost immediately, however. Howe's initial shot was superbly saved by Bevan, who also spectacularly kept out Mansell's thumping follow-up before the striker made no mistake at the third attempt, crashing the ball in from close range to haul the Gulls back into the match with 15 minutes remaining. Rovers could have made it 3-1 but Olejnik did well to deny Mustapha Carayol, while Craig Stanley sent an angled drive inches wide before Mansell struck.
