That's it from me folks, no upset here but a decent game with both sides doing well. Hope you enjoyed the coverage, I'll see you next time.
Class told in the end though and goals from Defoe, Pavlyuchenko and Dos Santos saw Spurs into the fourth round.
Well the scoreline perhaps paints a slightly lopsided picture of the game, Cheltenham played their hearts out and the players are applauded off the pitch by all supporters inside White Hart Lane.
Falque looking to make half a yard inside the opposition area, he's got quick feet, but can't quite keep the ball in play.
Still the Cheltenham players fight and work hard, with their fans staying behind them and still singing.
Pack flashes a shot not far over! Another decent chance for Town but the midfielder couldn't quite keep the effort down from the edge of the area. Three minutes of added time to be played.
Well that's that then, the result all sewn up and you have to feel a little sorry for Cheltenham, who don't deserve to lose 3-0.
Good run from Falque driving forward, the ball falls back to Dos Santos who hits a shot on the turn from inside the area that loops over Brown and into the net!
Well only five minutes remaining and Spurs look like they are advancing into the fourth round, but Cheltenham are giving it a right good go.
Fantastic run from Mohamed down the left wing for Town and he sends in a low cross, dealt with well by Dawson!
Spurs are back in the ascendancy now and it's a chance for the youngsters Falque and Bostock to prove themselves.
It's a smart free-kick taken short be Town, and the shot flies in...blocked! They turn the screw now and win a corner!
Michael Dawson picks up a yellow card for a clumsy challenge and Town have a chance from this free-kick...
Bassong is denied by another fine save from Brown! The ball broke for the defender just inside the area and he unleashed a powerful shot, well stopped.
Wasteful from Spurs as they pile forward. Pavlyuchenko can't get a shot away but Danny Rose then win a corner.
And it's the Cheltenham fans who you ca hear belting their hearts out behind the goal to my right, the Spurs supporters have been awfully quiet today.
Well we would have been in for a grandstand finish had that chance been tucked away, but there is still all to play for out there.
Penn wastes a glorious chance for Town! Great pace and trickery from the substitute Smikle down the right flank, he pulled it back across goal but the shot was over the bar!
Defoe forces a smart save from Brown but the flag had been raised for offside anyway. Still no changes from Redknapp...
More pressure from Spurs but they can't break down this stubborn defence at the moment, Kranjcar has a dig...blocked.
A few of the Cheltenham players are blowing now, they've worked ever so hard, but need to keep putting the effort in.
A burst of pace for Pavlyuchenko as he skips past two men before drilling a shot towards goal - but it's blocked for a corner.
A lot of short passes being exchanged in and around the Cheltenham area as Pienaar flicks it forward for Lennon who tries a first-time shot, but can't get decisive contact on it.
Nice play from Pavlyuchenko and Livermore in an attacking position down the right, but the cross when it comes in goes out before swinging back into play.
A few of the Spurs youngsters are now warming up, won't be long before we see them introduced I reckon.

The Cheltenham fans find their voice once again, they can be proud of their team in this first hour...what will the final third bring?
Free-kick to Town now and Garbutt steps up...he drifts it in but yet again it is another poor ball. Easily cleared.
Great save from Brown to deny Defoe! Another counter and Town can't deal with the diminutive striker, he gets a shot away but the keeper turns it round the post brilliantly!
Town preparing to make a change or two here, but they are putting some pressure on here and the subs may have to wait.
Nice break from Tottenham as Defoe sweeps forward, laying the ball off to Kranjcar who feeds in Lennon, but his effort is high and wide.
Well it's been a lively start to the half that's for sure, Cheltenham aren't giving this one up without a fight but another Spurs goal would kill all hope.
Pavlyuchenko tries an audacious chip over Brown but it sails over the bar. This game is turning into an end-to-end affair now.
Nearly a breakthrough for Cheltenham as they had a man over in the centre, but Dawson gets a crucial last-gasp challenge in.
Gareth Bale is sat right in front of me stuffing his face with cookies...that's obviously his secret.
Good save Brown to deny Defoe his second! The Spurs striker broke into the right side of the area before unleashing a low shot that was well blocked by the keeper.
Kranjcar coming deep and he flicks a ball forward with the outside of his boot, doesn't quite find Defoe.
No changes at half time for either side but that may chance and Harry Redknapp could give his youngsters a run out.
Tom Pears Tweets: "Would like to see our youngsters get a run out, now the game is seemingly over. Bostock and Carroll especially."

But let's not do Cheltenham an injustice - they acquitted themselves well there and are perhaps unlucky to be 2-0 down at the break.
Well Spurs were always comfortable in the opening period, Jermain Defoe and then Roman Pavlyuchenko getting on the scoresheet.
Mohamed has space now and he surges forward, Dawson is backtracking and the shot goes in...saved low by Cudicini!
Mark Yates looks extremely frustrated on the touchline, his team have done well but it looks all over now.
Well that could be a killer blow for Town as Defoe broke past the defence and squared it to Pavlyuchenko who had an easy tap-in!
Composed defending from Dawson to head calmly back to his goalkeeper. He has looked solid on his return to the side.
Spurs just looking to hold onto the ball but good pressure from Town results in a poor clearance from Cudicini...but he escapes embarrassment.
The visitors are applying a little pressure of their own now in the closing stages, but can they create that clear-cut chance? Not on this occasion as the ball rolls out for a goal-kick.
I don't think Mark Yates will be too disappointed if it's only 1-0 at half-time. His side have performed well and while it's one then you never know.
Lennon still causing a few problems down the right but he hasn't made Garbutt look too stupid so far.
Nice play from Town in midfield as Low advances down the right, but then it's a poor pass which Bassong laps up.
Crucial interception from Bennett to block Rose's low cross. Spurs continue to put the pressure on though.

Town slowly building and knocking a few passes together in the Spurs half, but when it comes to the killer ball they can't quite find it.
Period of possession for Spurs as they switch play from right to left, Rose gets to the byline and sends a ball in...palmed away under his own bar by Brown.
This time Garbutt steps up and puts too much weight on it, as it sails over everyone and goes straight out. He hasn't got his crossing boots on today.
Great work from Penn to hustle Rose on the flank and then win his side a free-kick. They will hope for better delivery here.
Summerfield does well to read Dawson's clearance but he diverts the ball straight out of play and Spurs build from the back again.
It's all Tottenham now and you have to fear for Cheltenham in this game. It's spread wide to Lennon but Garbutt gets a good foot on it.
Mark Yates will not be happy with his team there, they were in a decent attacking position but ended up conceding.
How unfortunate for Cheltenham. Their own free-kick was cleared and a swift counter attack saw Dos Santos surge down the left, chip the ball over the keeper and Defoe tapped it home! It was going in anyway to be fair!
Spencer goes down under a challenge and Cheltenham have the chance to send in a decent cross here. Halfway inside the Spurs half.
Mohamed cuts inside off the left flank with pace, drives infield and is challenged, but the ball falls to Penn who has a strike...not too far over!
Nearly a disastrous own goal for Garbutt there, with the ball flying across the area and deflecting off his shin over the bar. The corner is dealt with.
Good defending from Jombati as Defoe had danced his way past a few tacklers and was about to unleash a shot before the challenge came in.
Spurs haven't created a clear-cut chance yet and that's all credit to the Cheltenham defence, they don't look like a League Two outfit.
Spencer holds it off well for Cheltenham up front, he's proving a handful for Dawson, but the Robins can't keep the ball.
Lennon seems to be the key outlet for Tottenham, he cuts inside from the right flank this time and tries to play a one-two with Defoe, but can't latch on to the return pass.
Another nice passing move from Spurs and the ball comes back to Pienaar on the edge of the area who has a crack...blocked well!

Lennon dummies and drops his shoulder, causing Garbutt a few problems as the ball is chipped in, headed clear though...
It's taken short and Kranjcar then proceeds to whip the ball in, it's a great delivery but Pavlyuchenko can't divert it towards goal, in fact it goes backwards.
Mohamed looks a live wire for Cheltenham playing wide left, but it's Spurs doing the pressing as Rose wins another corner.
The corner is cleared but Spurs are now controlling the game, Defoe with half a yard on the edge of the area and he twists and turns...but a great challenge comes in.
Dos Santos has pace to burn as he surges down the left flank, leaving Jombati for dead and winning a corner.
Tottenham beginning to get some possession with Defoe coming deep to collect, but he then passes the balls straight out of play.
Penn is guilty of a blatant check on Pienaar in midfield and Spurs have the chance to send in a cross from this free-kick. Kranjcar delivers...cleared by the first man.

Interesting fact: These two teams have never played each other in a competitive fixture, the only time they previously met was a friendly in 1946.
Cian Hughes writes in: "Spurs at home to a league 1/2 team that could come out strong, but I think Spurs will crush them 3-0."
Cheltenham: Brown, Elliott, Bennett, Garbutt, Jombati, Pack, Low, Spencer, Penn, Mohamed, Summerfield. Subs: Book, Lowe, Andrew, Duffy, Goulding, Smikle, Graham.
Tottenham: Cudicini; Livermore, Bassong, Dawson, Rose; Lennon, Kranjcar, Pienaar, Giovani; Defoe, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Gomes, Kaboul, Bostock, Carroll, Falque, Parrett, Van der Vaart.
Let's just put today's match in perspective. These two clubs are flying high in their respective leagues - Spurs are third in the Premiership while Cheltenham are second in League Two. But 67 places separate them and it would take a monumental performance for the Robins to cause an upset in North London.

Of course this is not the beginning of the road for Cheltenham Town, who have already beaten Tranmere Rovers and Luton Town in the competition this season. But this is one the club from Gloucestershire will remember.
