Tranmere have mixed news on the injury front while Charlton keeper Rob Elliot is out of the game.

Mixed news for Rovers; keeper out for Addicks

Tranmere boss Les Parry has mixed news on the injury front ahead of the home League One clash with Charlton. John Welsh, Sam Morrow and Joss Labadie are all back in training and fit for the match after recent knocks but Parry has several fresh concerns. Striker Ian Thomas-Moore has pulled a hamstring in training and is doubtful while Adam McGurk could also miss out with an ankle problem. On-loan Leeds defender Liam Darville tweaked his knee in training this week and may also miss out along with midfielder Paul McLaren, who remains troubled by injury.

Charlton news

Charlton goalkeeper Rob Elliot is out of the trip to Prenton Park. Elliot will be sidelined for around a month after chipping a bone in his elbow in training on Tuesday. Boss Phil Parkinson has drafted in West Brom's Luke Daniels on loan and he will vie with Ross Worner, recently signed from Woking, for the gloves. Skipper Christian Dailly remains on the sidelines as he recovers from a fractured eye socket, the veteran defender having targeted the trip to Brentford on 2nd October for his comeback. Right-back Chris Solly has an ankle problem and misses out along with left-back Kelly Youga, although the latter is back in training with the rest of the first-team squad following a long-term knee injury.
