Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Tranmere Rovers and Preston North End at Prenton Park.

Ronnie Moore has a fully-fit Tranmere squad at his disposal for the visit of Preston to Prenton Park. The Rovers manager has recently had concerns over Liam Ridehalgh (groin), fellow defender Ian Goodison (thigh) and on-loan striker Jake Cassidy (back) but now has the luxury of a clean bill of health. The League One club also extended the loans of both Fulham centre-back Stephen Arthurworrey and Everton full-back Matthew Pennington by another month this week, meaning they could retain their slots in the starting line-up. Rovers will be bidding to win their third match in the past four games against North End, who are captained by their former skipper John Welsh. Craig Davies will be back in Preston's squad at Tranmere. The on-loan Bolton striker scored on his North End debut against Notts County but was ineligible as Simon Grayson's men exited the FA Cup on Wednesday night as he had already played in the competition. Teenage midfielder Josh Brownhill also missed out because of a groin injury and Grayson says it will be a late call on whether he can return to the squad at Prenton Park. Grayson has a wealth of options up front, particularly with Davies at his disposal again, while top scorer Joe Garner and Leicester loanee Paul Gallagher are likely to be restored to the starting XI.
