Wolves are likely to be without Diogo Jota for their home game against relegation-battling Burton.

The forward was forced off with an ankle injury early on in the home win against Reading in midweek. Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo admitted his concern after the match but the injury is now not thought to be as bad as initially feared.

However, Jota is unlikely to be involved with the international break coming after this weekend. Leo Bonatini could be recalled in his place.

Burton's injury woes continue to hinder their relegation fight and Albion could be without as many as seven players at Molineux. Jamie Allen is a fresh concern after he suffered an ankle injury in the defeat against Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Luke Murphy (hamstring) and Martin Samuelsen (illness) missed out at Bramall Lane and they remain doubts. John Brayford, Lucas Akins and Ben Turner are all likely to remain out as they focus on returning after the international break.

The last team to start the day as low as 23rd in the Championship and win away from home at the side starting the day top were Peterborough United in December 2012 away at Cardiff.

Ivan Cavaleiro has been involved in six goals in his last eight Championship matches (one goal, five assists).

Burton Albion have failed to score in six of their last seven league matches (W1 D3 L3).

Prutton's prediction

The disappointment of losing to Villa was put right against Reading in the week and how good they've been this season reflects in games such as this, where you'd think it would be tough for Burton to contain Wolves.

It's not impossible, but I just feel that that nice 10-point gap Nuno's men have got between themselves and third spurs them on to make sure they do eventually get automatic promotion.
