    Wolves v Port Vale preview

    Image: Leon Clarke: Remains sidelined

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Port Vale at Molineux Stadium.

Wolves have no new injury or suspension concerns for their home clash against Port Vale. Head coach Kenny Jackett must decide whether to stick with the same starting XI for a third successive game after watching his side dispose of promotion rivals Brentford so emphatically last weekend. Leon Clarke remains the only absentee with his heel problem but the striker may well return for next weekend's short trip to Walsall. Right-back Kevin Foley, who has not featured since early October, will be unavailable having joined Blackpool on a month-long loan deal. Port Vale hope young defender Jack Grimmer will be fit to retain his place in the starting line up against Wolves. Grimmer looked likely to miss the trip to Molineux after he was carried off on a stretcher with a knee injury during last weekend's 3-1 home defeat to Crewe but the 20-year-old, on loan from Fulham, was able to train on Thursday and he will continue to be assessed ahead of the game on Saturday. If Grimmer does play, the second spot in central defence will go to either Joe Davis or the fit-again Richard Duffy, who has not played since suffering an ankle injury against Plymouth on January 5 but came through 90 minutes of a reserve-team game on Wednesday. Anthony Griffith (hip) will definitely miss out and his absence is likely to mean a chance for on-loan Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott.
