Image: Wayne Hennessey: Back in contention

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Preston North End at Molineux.

Wayne Hennessey is back in contention for Wolves' home clash against promotion rivals Preston. The goalkeeper has apologised for refusing to play in last Friday's 1-0 defeat at Gillingham and is now available for selection following an internal disciplinary. He will compete with Aaron McCarey to face North End. First-choice stopper Carl Ikeme (broken hand) remains sidelined along with defenders Ethan Ebanks-Landell (ankle) and Matt Doherty (hamstring) as well as midfielder Jack Price (knee). However, defender Richard Stearman returns from a one-match suspension while striker Liam McAlinden is back in training after glandular fever. Simon Grayson has the luxury of having a Preston squad without any injuries or suspensions as he takes his team to promotion rivals Wolves. Midfielder Neil Kilkenny is available after he joined on a permanent contract at the end of his loan spell this week, as is defender Scott Wiseman, who penned an 18-month deal following his release by Barnsley. Top scorer Joe Garner will hope for a recall to the starting XI after only coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Ipswich in the FA Cup last weekend. Jack King missed that long trip as Grayson uses him sparingly following a recent broken foot, so the utility man could be another that comes into contention.
