Highlights of the Carabao Cup match between Wolves and Yeovil.

Wolves were made to work hard for a 1-0 victory over Yeovil in the first round of the Carabao Cup at Molineux on Tuesday.

Yeovil lost their opening game of the Sky Bet League Two season 8-2 at Luton, but only a 76th-minute effort from Nouha Dicko decided this encounter.

Having come into the game on the back of the debacle against Luton, Yeovil could have approached the first-ever meeting between these sides with some trepidation.

But against a Wolves side showing nine changes from the that which beat Middlesbrough 1-0 last weekend, they looked far from overawed.

In fact, it was Darren Way's side who threatened to break the deadlock first when Otis Khan forced Wolves' debutant goalkeeper Will Norris into a smart save with a powerful 23rd-minute drive.

Wolves struggled to test Yeovil goalkeeper Artur Krysiak at all in the opening period, with their only attempt of note seeing Willy Boly head a corner from Jordan Graham well wide in the 31st minute.

They continued to toil in the second period and Yeovil should have made them pay for their lethargy in the 70th minute, only for the unmarked Sam Surridge to somehow miss the target from 14 yards when he only had Norris to beat after a pass from Connor Smith.
