We are making you the envy of football managers everywhere by asking you to pick a team of the finest players ever to wear the legendary yellow shirts of Brazil.

We have put together a shortlist of players from down the years and want you to select your favourite XI in a 4-4-2- formation.

Despite Brazil not being particularly renowned for their world-class goalkeepers, a trip down memory lane reminds us that they have boasted some impressive and characterful World Cup shot-stoppers. Hence, choosing between Claudio Taffarel, Gilmar, Emerson Leao and Marcos is a difficult task.

Attack has certainly been considered the best form of defence for Brazil over the years. Indeed, they have produced many a fine attacking wing-back with the likes of Roberto Carlos and Cafu considered legends for their tireless running from defence to support their team-mates. They too have boasted some powerful centre-backs with the likes of Luis Pereira an unquestionable footballing hero.

The South American giants have enjoyed a glut of midfield talent over the decades. Ranging from the midfield enforcers in the shape of Dunga and Gilberto to the attack-minded players who boasted such dazzling flair such as Garrincha and Didi. Choosing four from these 16 world-class footballers is a very tough task indeed.

Brazil have been blessed with a plethora of attacking talent down the years of World Cup history, with their striking department well-stocked. Indeed, picking two from the likes of Pele, Romario and all-time World Cup leading goalscorer Ronaldo is some managerial headache.
