Ahorlu is a new addition to Ghana's national side as the trip to South Africa will be the first international tournament of his fledgling career.
The 21-year-old is a product of the Heart of Lions academy and progressed through the ranks into the first-team squad.
He has made 62 appearances since 2008 and earned four caps for the Black Stars Under-21 side before securing a call-up to the senior team in May 2010.
With one cap to his name, Ahorlu is in the squad in case of injuries to their first-choice stoppers and will be viewing the tournament as an experience to take with him for the future, when he could become his country's number one.
