After a turbulent season with Portsmouth, where at one stage it looked like he may have to stop playing altogether due to a contract dispute, Dindane will be looking for some World Cup therapy.
A fast, tricky forward, Dindane is very direct in his playing style. Whether on the wing or up top in attack, he is a constant threat who is sure to cause problems for opposition defences in South Africa.
The 29-year-old is another graduate of the ASEC Mimosas youth academy.
The Abidjan-born forward moved to Anderlecht in 2000 and spent five successful years in Belgium.
He was then picked up by Lens before moving on loan to Pompey in 2009.
A veteran of over 50 caps for his country, Dindane will be looking to set the tournament alight - especially against the likes of Brazil and Portugal.
