A player well known in the UK, Killen has plenty of international experience and will start for the All Whites if fit.

Killen is something of an old-fashioned centre-forward; tall, strong, and a good header of the ball whilst not being the most mobile.

Despite only playing one qualifying game, he is expected to partner the more skilful Shane Smeltz in attack.

The Middlesbrough striker made his debut for New Zealand in 2000 and has been an important part of the All Whites' set-up in the past few years, representing his country at the Olympics and the Confederations Cup.

Known for being injury prone, Killen's career hasn't ever really taken off.

A youth at Manchester City, he made his name with his goalscoring for Oldham and later Hibernian which secured him a dream move to Celtic.

After just four starts in two-and-a-half seasons with the Scottish giants, he spent the latter half of this season with Gordon Strachan's Middlesbrough.

He will be one of many in South Africa hoping to impress to enhance their club career, as he is out of contract at the Riverside this summer.
