Yeovil v Colchester preview

Team news ahead of Saturday's League One clash between Yeovil and Colchester at Huish Park.

Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton will look to name his strongest side even though safety is already assured. A four-match unbeaten run has taken the Glovers out of the reach of the bottom four with two games to go but they are targeting a strong finish. Defender Paul Huntington is available following his one-match ban and could return to the side. But Skiverton was impressed with his side's performance in the 2-2 draw at promotion-chasing Peterborough and may stick with the same line-up. The Yeovil boss is in the process of deciding on players' futures and those who do not feature in his plans for next season are likely to be left out for the final two games. Despite sitting in 18th, the Somerset club have are only six points behind 11th-placed Carlisle. Colchester will be without their in-form striker Steven Gillespie. Gillespie, who scored four goals in his last five matches, has undergone an operation on his broken arm and will miss the final two games of the season. Midfielder David Perkins is on the mend after three weeks out with a hamstring injury but the trip to Somerset may come too soon. Centre-halves Magnus Okuonghae (ankle) and Pat Baldwin (Achilles) remain long-term absentees while winger Simon Hackney has a hamstring strain. Boss John Ward is already planning for next term and has told winger Medy Elito, midfielder Sam Corcoran and defender Morten Knudsen they will be released at the end of the season.
