Alongside the McLaren driver will be Romain Grosjean who took his maiden podium finish at the Sakhir venue in 2012 - a feat that he repeated last year - although a third successive Bahrain roster looks unlikely given Lotus' struggles thus far.
Fellow Frenchmen Jules Bianchi (Marussia) and Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso) will also be present, with Caterham's Marcus Ericsson and Force India's Nico Hulkenberg completing the line-up.
On Friday, Mercedes Executive Director (Technical) Paddy Lowe will face the media following the team's 1-2 finish Malaysia, whilst from their nearest challenger Red Bull will be Adrian Newey. Bob Fernley (Force India) and Pat Symonds will also be present and Remi Taffin will also be on hand to answer questions on the Renault power unit.
