Butch Harmon describes the impact Dustin Johnson's injury had on his game

Butch Harmon discusses Dustin Johnson's fitness ahead of the Players Championship and looks at how he is coping with being world No 1.

Dustin Johnson is pain-free and feels really good about his swing. He took a bunch of time off and last week it was really amazing to get in the position that he did, considering he literally hadn't really practiced and played.

It just shows how good he is and he is the best player in the world. He can overpower a golf course like Rory McIlroy and Jason Day can when they're on-song.

He used to play around his wedge game because he wasn't very good at it, but now says his wedge game is much better.

The other thing I would say about him is that I think he will relish being world No 1 more than the others, because nothing seems to bother this guy.

After anything happens to him, he just seems to come back and play good! The guy's phenomenal.

McIlroy is another great player who can play any golf course. I think sometimes guys get a little wrapped up on a course that doesn't suit their eye or they don't play well right away, and let that fester within them.

I think as they mature and they get older that goes away. This is a great golf course and one which rewards good shots and penalises bad ones. Rory hits a lot of good ones and should be a real factor this week.

It's one of the best fields in the world of golf. We have 48 of the world's top 50 here, the course has been revamped and the players love the conditions. I think it's going to be one heck of a tournament.
