World number eight Phil Mickelson is determined to make amends for past failures at the upcoming Open Championship at Muirfield.
Mickelson, who will play in the Scottish Open at Castle Stuart this week, was also delighted with the warm weather that greeted his arrival in Great Britain. "We got in yesterday and the weather was fantastic," he added. "It felt like it was San Diego, it was warm and beautiful. "The forecast this week looks to be spectacular and Castle Stuart is one of my favourite golf courses - I just love it and love the tournament. "I think it's a great place to hold the Scottish Open and a great place to play the week before the British Open."
