TV presenter and GolfSixes co-host Vernon Kay heads in to the Shot Centre to get his game analysed by Denis Pugh

Vernon Kay came in to the studio during the Zurich Classic of New Orleans to look ahead to the GolfSixes and put his golfing skills to the test.

The TV presenter will be co-hosting next week's new team tournament at the Centurion Club, which will see 16 nations represented in an innovative format over two days.

Weather delays during the final round at TPC Louisiana gave plenty of time for Kay to head in to the Shot Centre, where he was given a thorough examination from Sky Sports' Denis Pugh.

Kay is an avid golfer who is regularly seen appearing in Pro-Am tournaments such as at the BMW PGA Championship, but how would he cope with playing in front of a live TV audience?

The 12-handicapper loosened up with a couple of swings with the 8-iron before hitting a few drives, with Pugh later impressed by the Bolton Wanderers fan's chipping skills.
