To celebrate one of the biggest events in the golf calendar - THE PLAYERS Championship - Sky Sports Golf is set to become 'Sky Sports THE PLAYERS' for the week of the tournament.
Sky Sports THE PLAYERS will launch on Monday 7 May and will bring you over 50 hours of live coverage and a range of programming dedicated to the PGA Tour's flagship tournament.
Golf's unofficial fifth major has been played at the famous TPC Sawgrass course in Florida since 1982, with the iconic 17th par-three island green creating incredible drama over the years.
Sky Sports' coverage will feature a raft of original content, including documentaries, behind-the-scenes features and practice rounds.
We'll also have the Sky Zone studio on the range at Sawgrass, giving viewers a unique insight into player's warm-ups, swing and practice techniques.
The live action will commence on Thursday 10 May with Featured Group coverage during the early stages of the first round, and you will also have the option of watching live Featured Holes over the four tournament days.
Full live coverage starts at 6pm on Thursday presented by David Livingstone, with our expert commentary and analysis line-up featuring Ewen Murray, Paul McGinley, Butch Harmon, Rich Beem and Mark Roe, while Sarah Stirk will be our reporter at the Sky Cart.
Social media reporter Henni Goya will be out and about around TPC Sawgrass throughout the tournament, giving you a behind-the-scenes view of the tournament via the Sky Sports Golf Facebook page and Snapchat, as well as the Sky Sports Golf Twitter and Periscope accounts.
There will be live text commentary and analysis on SkySports.com and mobile apps, with video highlights, post-round interviews and much more exciting content. Sky Sports News will offer highlights and interviews throughout the tournament.
Official films relive some of the iconic Players Championship memories, with extended highlights available after each day's play, and these will be available On Demand and online.
Viewers can follow the coverage on the move via SkyGo, while non-Sky subscribers can keep up with the extensive Sky Sports Golf coverage via a contract-free NOW TV Pass.
Don't miss all the action from The Players Championship, live throughout the week on Sky Sports THE PLAYERS.
