TPC Louisiana hosts the Zurich Classic of New Orleans for a seventh time, with the Pete Dye creation laid out among the lush wetlands and swamps close to the Mississippi River.
Fast greens and water are key elements of a venue on which Dye consulted with Tour pros Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson during its design process.
The course, which made its Tour debut seven years ago, was unable to host the tournament 12 months later due to Hurricane Katrina which devastated large areas of the Gulf Coast in August 2005.
Who's taking part this week?
Luke Donald: Recently lost his status as world No 1 but remains in decent shape. He was a winner in Florida during March and a top-10 finisher at TPC Louisiana last year.
Jason Dufner: His last 12 rounds here average 69.25 thanks to three straight top-10 finishes in New Orleans. Currently No 30 in the World Ranking - and the 16th highest American in the list
Charles Howell: Has enjoyed some solid performances in the Deep South and three weeks ago posted a top-20 finish at Augusta National.
Jeff Overton: Is long overdue a maiden Tour title. He tied for fourth in Houston in early April.
Webb Simpson: After finishing second in last year's PGA Tour Money List, the young American has made a low key start to 2012 - just one top-10 finish in his most recent six starts. He lost a play-off in this event 12 months ago.
Bubba Watson: The defending champion makes his first appearance since winning The Masters earlier this month. He has not finished outside the top-25 in any event since last September - a run of 12 tournaments.
