First held in 1981, the Nedbank Challenge at the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City has become one of the most prestigious events on South Africa's sporting calendar. With even the last placed finisher guaranteed one-quarter of a million dollars, this week's tournament is stroke-for-stroke the most lucrative in world golf.
