Edoardo Molinari had his accuracy and distance put to the test by the European Tour in a special hole-in-one challenge ahead of the Italian Open.
The odds of an average golfer making an ace are roughly one in 100,000, but former Ryder Cup star Molinari was only given 500 balls to try and achieve the special feat.
Prior to this week's latest Rolex Series event, live on Sky Sports Golf, Molinari was sent out on a 145-yard par-three to see if he could beat the odds and nail that one perfect shot.
Molinari is one of an elite group to have made a hole-in-one on the European Tour this season, sinking his tee shot at the par-three 16th during the opening round of the Made In Denmark, but could he repeat the effort on home soil?
Click on the video above to see how many balls Molinari required! There is also more entertaining content on the European Tour's YouTube Homepage.
Watch the Italian Open throughout the week live on Sky Sports Golf. Live coverage begins on Wednesday with the On the Range show from 3pm.
