Wayne Riley has established himself as one of the best on-course commentators in the world of golf, and the popular Aussie has been giving us an insight into his life on and off the course.
In a new PGA Tour Productions series profiling a number of famous figures in the sport, Radar discusses his lengthy career as a professional and how he made the transition into commentating before becoming one of the most recognisable voices on Sky Sports.
Wayne turned professional in 1977 and, after three wins in his homeland, he scored a notable victory in the 1991 Australian Open over a field that included the likes of Greg Norman and Vijay Singh.
He went on to win twice on the European Tour, his first title coming with a two-shot triumph over Nick Faldo at the 1995 Scottish Open in his most successful season, finishing 11th on the Order of Merit.
Since retiring as a player, Radar turned his attention to commentary and soon became renowned for his entertaining, witty and insightful delivery, making him a popular personality with viewers worldwide as well as the players on the European and PGA Tours.
