After his hole-in-one at Mayakoba, we rewind to 2010 when Jonathan Byrd aced the fourth play-off hole to win the Las Vegas Open in spectacular style.

Jonathan Byrd produced a shot of perfection shortly before the second's day's play was suspended for inclement weather at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

Byrd had already staged a bright recovery from a poor start to his round, covering the back-nine in two over before hitting back with three birdies in six holes, and even better was to follow at the par-three eighth.

The 39-year-old found the 135-yard hole to his liking as his well-struck short-iron pitched a few feet short of the flag before gripping and taking a slight left turn to roll into the cup for the second hole-in-one of the tournament after Keith Mitchell found the target with his first shot of the day at the par-three 10th in round one.

Byrd won five times on the PGA Tour before losing his card in 2014, but he recently regained his playing rights for this season after storming to a four-shot win at the Web.com Tour Championship.

Jonathan Byrd produced a moment to savour with a perfect hole-in-one shortly before play was suspended on day two of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.

The Sea Island native made one of the most famous holes-in-one in PGA Tour history just over seven years ago, when he aced the fourth play-off hole to win the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas ahead of Martin Laird and Cameron Percy.
