Cink blows it as Texan takes the title

Sean O'Hair claimed his second PGA Tour victory with a final round 69 at the PODS Championship in Florida on Sunday. Despite dropping a shot with a bogey at the last the American finished four under par for the tournament to edge out a group of six players on two under. The 25-year-old Texan grabbed the outright lead for the first time with a 32-foot birdie putt at the par three 15th and with overnight leader Stewart Cink struggling, he never looked back. Fellow Americans George McNeill (69), Troy Matteson (69), Billy Mayfair (72) and Cink (74) shared second at the end alongside Australia's John Senden (67) and Japan's Ryuji Imada (68) as O'Hair claimed his first title since the 2005 John Deere Classic.

Emotion

O'Hair said wiping tears from his eyes: "When I won the first time, it just kind of happened. "I didn't really appreciate it. I thought I was good enough to do this every year. But it's been such a struggle to get to this point again. "This is awesome, and I'm going to enjoy it." Cink made an ideal start with a birdie at the par five first and a 23 foot birdie putt at the second to stretch his lead to four strokes. But bogeys at the third, eighth, 13th and 14th and a double bogey at the 16th ensured the four-time PGA Tour winner went home disappointed.
