A preview and stats for this week's Travelers Championship at River Highlands in Connecticut
Once again, TPC River Highlands hosts the post-US Open party.
Laid out above the Connecticut River, the Cromwell course in Greater Hartford will be hosting the tournament for a 30th straight year.
River Highlands has existed in various guises across the decades and has experienced a number of refurbishments during its 85-year history.
First known as Middletown Golf Club, and later Edgewood Country Club, the course was purchased by the PGA Tour in the early 1980s and, after a number of modifications, was re-titled TPC of Connecticut.
After some more changes the course became known as TPC River Highlands in 1990 and the event remains an integral part of the PGA Tour schedule.
Headlining this week's field is new US Open champion Justin Rose.
