Boo who? you might well ask. The 35-year-old from Florida made his PGA Tour breakthrough by winning the Verizon Heritage in 2007 and retained the trophy this season. It is a shame for Boo that the Ryder Cup will not be played at Harbour Town. Before 2007 he had spent the best part of a decade bouncing between the mini-tours, the Nationwide Tour and the main tour, but is now an established upper-echelon journeyman, with five top 10s this season and more than $2million banked. He has had some success in team golf, finishing runner-up with Heath Slocum at the Mission Hills World Cup last year, behind Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren. But it is hard not to feel that the United States re-designed their qualifying system to avoid fielding the likes of Weekley. He finished in the eighth and final qualifying position and it is hard to see him playing much before the singles.
