The 26-year-old could already be a dual major winner having had two glorious chances last year. Firstly, he blew a three-shot 54-hole lead in the US Open at Pebble Beach before, two months later, he fell foul of a rules decision on the 72nd hole at Whistling Straits that saw his play-off spot in the PGA Championship taken away. DJ didn't dwell though - his phlegmatic nature is another big strength - and bounced back in style to become the only man under 30 playing the PGA Tour with four wins to his name by winning The BMW Championship at Cog Hill. He hasn't quite hit the same heights in 2011 although he has banked some serious cheques due to a second place in the WGC event at Doral, a third at Torrey Pines and a fourth at Memorial last time out. He was very much on the radar at last year's US Open at Pebble Beach having twice won the regular PGA Tour event there and, of course, for 54 holes he justified the hype. The focus isn't quite as intense this year so that and the big hitting which looks an ideal asset for this monster of a course could make a him a dangerous customer.
