A few years ago Geoff Ogilvy was derided for being a choker and now he is celebrated for being anything but. When he won this year's WGC-Accenture Matchplay Championship the entire world of golf was falling over itself to commend and compliment his almost Zen-like composure. He played very solid golf in the majors in 2005 and since then has discovered the happy knack of peaking for the majors and the World Championship events. He now has one US Open and three WGC titles to his name. Earlier this year Stewart Cink said: "I would kill for his short game, the pressure putts he makes. He hits the fairways when he needs to. He's got it all. He's just got a very quiet, lethal kind of game." If he has one weakness it is his record around Augusta - he's played the course 12 times and is yet to break 70. His game appears perfect for the layout, and he says he likes the course, so perhaps this will be the year he turns it around.
