He tried twice. He failed twice. He lost to my son and to lose to someone below that, it's time to leave the ring.

Quotes of the week
Floyd Mayweather Snr believes it is time for Ricky Hatton to retire.
The trainer, who was rumoured to have fallen out with the Hitman on the eve of his fight with Manny Pacquiao, delivered the damning verdict minutes after his fighter was knocked out cold.
Hatton was floored twice in the first round before being caught by a vicious left hook at the end of the second and had to be helped from the ring.
But as he headed to hospital for a check-up, Mayweather Snr was calling for his man to hang up the gloves.
"I would suggest he retire," he said. "At the end of the day it's his decision."
"He tried twice. He failed twice. He lost to my son and to lose to someone below that, it's time to leave the ring.
"He made a good profit. Sometimes you have to go when your prime is still there."
Mayweather's comments will do little to dispel the reports that he is going to split with Hatton after just two fights in charge.
Hatton meanwhile assured his thousands of fans that he was fine before heading off to a nearby hospital for tests.
"I didn't see the shot coming," he said. "But I will be OK."

I'm glad I didn't bother to pay to watch what turned out to be a complete mismatch !!

The other comment is about right but not about Mayweather. Hatton is his own worse enemy. Mayweather was telling him to do what they'd practiced in training but he just would not do it, his hands were down. Mayweather knew it and maybe Hatton not listening to him caused the breakdown. I'd be so frustrated if I were Mayweather.

What a joke! After all the talk Hatton goes on to do what he does best and put his guard down ready to be hit. Mayweather is not the trainer he says he is, Roach is amazing though. I feel for all the people who paid thousands to go out there to watch it. He should retire. The Pac Man has proven that he truly is top drawer, however I think Mayweather would be a step too far for him.
