Trainer Andrew Balding tells Sky Sports News' that race horse On Demand should be back racing by mid-July.
The filly, who has had four career runs, was turned away for the spring at Highclere Stud to recuperate and rest for a few months.
Now, trainer Andrew Balding has signalled that the chestnut will return to work at the yard and increase fast work over the next fortnight ahead of a return to the race track by the middle of July.
"There will be a period of probably a fortnight of light training before we start faster work," said Balding, who runs Kingsclere Park House Stables in Newbury.
"It’s not that she’s been totally inactive but she’s been in a light training programme, a conditioning training programme and when she returns here [Kingsclere] - it will probably be a fortnight - then start fast work and I would hope we would be looking at the middle of July when she’s ready for the racecourse again.
"I think the most important thing is that she’s shown a level of form already. She was always a filly that had pedigree and her physical make up suggests she’s going to improve with age.
"I think very much her best days are ahead of her."
