Forever Now is to go to France in search of a Listed success in the Prix Michel Houyvet at Deauville on Sunday.
The lightly-raced three-year-old looked a promising stayer in the making when running away with a Doncaster maiden in June on his third start and followed that up with a good third behind Hartnell in the Group Three Bahrain Trophy at Newmarket's July meeting.
The winner that day is a leading fancy for the Ladbrokes St Leger but Forever Now is unlikely to take up his entry in the final Classic of the season, for which he was generally available at 25-1, at Doncaster next month.
His next port of call is across the Channel in a Listed race for three-year-olds over one mile and seven furlongs.
"It looks like Forever Now is going to run in Deauville on Sunday in a Listed race," said Hugo Lascelles, racing manager to owner Lady Bamford.
"The form of his Newmarket race has worked out decently so we are going to give him the chance of a Listed race there.
"I would say he's very unlikely to go for the St Leger."
