A total of 39 horses have been entered for the three-and-a-half mile contest which was won last year by Giles Cross, who beat subsequent John Smith's Grand National winner Neptune Collonges by a neck.
Last year's winner will aim to record back-to-back victories, a feat achieved by Silver By Nature who won the race in 2010 and 2011.
Lucinda Russell's twelve-year-old hasn't been since finishing behind Ballabriggs in the 2011 Grand National but he could be given a chance to record a third victory in the race after being given an entry.
Other notable entries include former Grand National hero Ballabriggs, recent Wincanton scorer Big Fella Thanks and last year's Rehearsal Chase winner Junior.
