Winning Express is set for a change of tactics in the 1000 Guineas
Ed McMahon will give Franny Norton different instructions when they bid for Qipco Guineas glory with Winning Express.

McMahon was delighted with his filly's performance in finishing third behind Hot Snap and Sky Lantern in the Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket last week, despite suffering trouble in running.
That was the first time Winning Express had tackled seven furlongs and she will have an extra furlong to travel in the fillies' Classic at Headquarters on May 5.
"I think she ran very well and I think we probably would have finished closer to the second had she not been squeezed," said the Staffordshire handler.
"I don't see why she shouldn't go for the Guineas, she was staying on well at the end.
"I think I'm going to have different tactics as to how we ride her next time. We've only got one Guineas. I think she doesn't pick up straight away and keeps galloping.
"Hopefully riding her a bit differently the result will be as we want. We've got a nice filly and wherever we finish I think we will give a good account of ourselves.
"I had a good rapport with Franny last year, he rode some nice races for me and he will keep the ride in the Guineas. He's one of the senior jockeys in the weighing room and he has done very well for me.
"He gave her a good ride in the Cheveley Park (second) and he talks a lot of sense. Staying with Franny for this filly I will hopefully get the continuity I think you need."
