The Andover trainer will consider the Coral Cup as well as the two staying novice hurdles, the Neptune Investment Management and the Albert Bartlett, for the six-year-old.
Timesremembered, a fine second to Captain Cutter in the Grade One Challow Novices' Hurdle on his previous start, ran too free and failed to handle the difficult conditions when a distant sixth of seven behind Urban Hymn over an extended three miles on Town Moor.
"Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I'd gone up to Doncaster looking for the best ground I could find. It was wet enough, but the rain came down something unbelievable up there and none of them want that," said Lavelle.
"I think Timesremembered had had enough of running on that and over three miles he pulled too hard early and then he fell into a bit of a heap.
"He will go to Cheltenham for either the Albert Bartlett, the Neptune or possibly the Coral Cup which could just be up his street. We've got those as options there."
Lavelle wished she had not run Gullinbursti in the Sky Bet Chase on the same card after conditions went against him as well.
The eight-year-old was sent off second favourite for the big handicap but was never travelling and was pulled up before the 11th fence.
"Gullinbursti just wants nice ground and when we get it he thrives. His run at Market Rasen was fantastic, but we haven't had the ground for him," said Lavelle.
"The race didn't go for him on Saturday, but he's come out of it fine. I wished I'd pulled him out. He won't now run until he gets his good ground."
