The jump jockey, whose rides at next month's Cheltenham Festival include the mighty Big Buck's in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle, was kicked after being unseated from Jaunty Journey when leading the field at the first flight of the extended three-mile handicap hurdle.
He managed to walk away feelingly, but did not ride his one remaining mount on the card, Chankillo in the concluding handicap hurdle.
"I'm all right. I just got a kick, but I'm back racing tomorrow. All is good. It was just very sore, so it was best not to ride the last one, but I'll definitely be all right for tomorrow," said Twiston-Davies.
"I was stood down, but it was just one of those things and it was very sore at the time. I wouldn't have done the horse justice in the last, but I feel 100 per cent now and ready to go tomorrow."
He has one booked ride at the Lincolnshire track, Benefit Cut for Renee Robeson in the Ladies Day Is Saturday 19th July Novices' Limited Handicap Chase.
