Royal Ascot: Moore and Stoute claim gongs

An early double for Ryan Moore and Sir Michael Stoute was enough to seal the Qipco-sponsored top Royal Ascot jockey and trainer titles.
He ensured he claimed the title for the fourth time in five years with a sixth win when the Willie Mullins-trained Pique Sous rounded off the carnival in style in the Queen Alexandra Stakes.
William Buick was his nearest pursuer on three triumphs.
Stoute, who was already the most successful current Royal Ascot trainer before it started, now has 72 in total after four wins during the meeting.
The Newmarket trainer has been a little quieter in recent seasons, and had last received this particular prize back in 2006.
Moore, who received both prizes, said: "It's nice to win the last, but it would have been nice to win the Golden Jubilee as well.
"The only disappointment of the week was Dank, and it was a shame I couldn't get a winner for The Queen.
"It's gone really well in the main and I'm delighted. It's been a lovely week.
"It's a hugely important week for all the owners and trainers in this country."
