Jockey Philip Enright is likely to be sidelined until at least the end of August after damaging his wrist in a fall at Killarney on Tuesday night.
Enright came down from the Henry de Bromhead-trained Bally Longford at the second-last fence in the Christy McSweeney Memorial Novice Chase.
His agent, Frostie Kelly, said: "Philip is having surgery on the wrist and at the moment it's looking like he'll be out for about six weeks."
Kelly also represents Andrew Lynch, who rode once for De Bromhead earlier in the evening, and had taken a tumble at Downpatrick on Monday.
"Andrew's going for X-rays," he said. "I haven't spoken to him again yet, but it was just soreness so hopefully it's nothing too serious."
