Mick Channon has not yet made a final decision on whether recent Newbury winner Amralah will turn out for Saturday's Betfred Rose of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock.
Placed at Newmarket and Sandown earlier in the campaign, Amralah opened his account for the year with a determined short-head triumph over Vancouverite in Newbury's Doom Bar Stakes, with the runner-up also entered at Haydock.
Channon plans to consult owner Prince Faisal before deciding whether to send his four-year-old to Merseyside or wait for the Group Three Prix Gontaut-Biron at Deauville on Saturday week.
"I've got to speak to the owner yet but Amralah is a possible (for Haydock). He is also entered for a race in France and I don't know which way the owner wants to go," said Channon.
