On Demand finished fifth on her latest appearance in the Arup Fillies' Handicap at Ffos Las on Thursday.
The Sky Sports News racechorse was sent off the 11/4 joint favourite for the contest and was settled at the rear of the six-runner field by jockey Jim Crowley.
Travelling well, Crowley brought her through to challenge close to the stands' rail two furlongs out but she struggled to make an impact as the tempo quickened.
However having looked in trouble, she did finish well inside the final furlong to suggest that she stayed the trip on her first run over ten furlongs.
Trained by Andrew Balding, On Demand was having her fifth race of 2014 and is still seeking a first win.
