El Salvador is entered in the Killarney Veterinary Clinic Qualified Riders race on Tuesday evening at Killarney and it is expected that he will provide the O'Brien family with another memorable night at the County Kerry track.
It is possible El Salvador could bid for a double again two days later in the Listed Challenge Stakes at Leopardstown, this time under Joseph O'Brien, depending on how much Tuesday's race takes out of him.
Aidan O'Brien has entered a total of five horses in an attempt to break Dermot Weld's stronghold on the race. Weld is attempting to win the race for the sixth year running and his super versatile mare Unaccompanied might make a comeback after a seven month absence to defend the record of her boss.
Last seen finishing second to Hurricane Fly in the Grade One Istabraq Hurdle at the same track last December, Unaccompanied is a serious performer on the Flat as well, having won a Listed race at The Curragh and run Fame And Glory to a neck in another at Navan last season. She is well treated at the weights and will take all the beating if turning up.
