Cody Franson, Mason Raymond, James van Riemsdyk, Nikolai Kulemin, Joffrey Lupul and Tyler Bozak got the goals for Toronto.
Patrik Elias netted the winner four minute into overtime as the New Jersey Devils beat the Dallas Stars 3-2.
