The ten most selected players so far in Fantasy Football
Luis Suarez (£8.8m) - 37%
Earned a place in over a third of all teams having caught the eye after impressing during his first few months at Liverpool - picking up 53 points from just 12 starts. Three goals in helping Uruguay win the Copa America has further enhanced his blossoming reputation, but a relentless campaign is likely to result in him used sparingly at the start of the season.
Leighton Baines (£7.1m) - 31%
Everton's attacking full-back full-back was good for goals last term netting five times while his set-piece taking duties helped him notch up 12 assists and 121 points overall.
Joe Hart (£5.9m) - 31%
Top-scoring goalkeeper last term after starting all of Manchester City's games and keeping 18 clean sheets and could improve on that with the big-spenders targeting the title this term.
Wayne Rooney (£9.9m) - 28%
After putting on and off pitch problems behind him, the Manchester United striker looked to be getting back to his best last season in racking up 122 points with 11 goals and 11 assists.
Brede Hangeland (£5.7m) - 28%
Scored six times last term, the joint most for a Premier League defender, and helped forge the joint-fourth best defence in the country with Fulham keeping 13 clean sheets.
Gareth Bale (£7.7m) - 24%
Set the Lane alight last term with his Champions League heroics and also performed well in the Premier League scoring seven goals in picking up 99 points. Somewhat surprisingly only contributed three assists but, at 22 years old, can be expected to do better this season.
Rafael van der Vaart (£8.7m) - 25%
Made a stunning start to life at Tottenham by bagging 13 goals in his first season at the Lane in picking up 132 points playing just off the frontman.
Jack Wilshere (£5.5m) - 24%
Cemented his place in Arsenal's line-up last season with 31 starts but only scored 69 points having netted just once and claiming four assists
Nemanja Vidic (£8m) - 22%
At £8m he's the most expensive defender in the game but scores consistently well due to Manchester United's fine defensive record and his knack for netting.
Charlie Adam (£5.9m) - 21%
One of the surprise packages from last season in picking up 133 points with Blackpool and looks good to score big again as he takes set-pieces for Liverpool.
