Shaw leads with his knee on Du Preez
British and Irish Lions lock Simon Shaw has been handed a two-week ban after being cited for dangerous play during Saturday's third Test victory over South Africa.
Shaw was found guilty of deliberately striking Springboks scrum-half Fourie du Preez with his knee just before half-time in the Lions memorable 28-9 triumph in Johannesburg.
The 35-year-old was shown a yellow card by Australian referee Stuart Dickinson showed Shaw for the offence in the 37th minute of the game at Ellis Park.
He was subsequently summoned to appear at a disciplinary hearing on Sunday where he was found guilty and handed his suspension.
Miles Harrison says the Lions want to show their style of rugby can lead to victory and not just gallant defeats.
Despite losing the series, Stuart Barnes believes that the Lions have enhanced their reputation.
