England face New Zealand yet again on Sunday, with this time a place in the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy at stake in their crucial Group A clash in Cardiff.
After back-to-back series against the Black Caps home and away, the two teams meet again in what is effectively a quarter-final of the Champions Trophy.
New Zealand top the Group A table after a win against Sri Lanka and a no result against Australia, while England beat the Aussies but lost to the Sri Lankans last time out.
There are various scenarios in which all four teams still have the chance to qualify, but Alastair Cook's men know that just a win will take them through to the last four.
Rain could again have an impact on the tournament with the forecast for Cardiff not great, and while another no result will do for New Zealand both sides will be keen to get a game in.
The major selection concern for England comes with Jonathan Trott, who could miss the game with a quad injury that will be assessed before the game in Cardiff.
Trott top-scored with 76 in Thursday's Group A defeat to Sri Lanka but was off the field for much of the opposition's run chase, although he was back in the nets at Saturday's practice.
England's one-day coach Ashley Giles had to dismiss reports of alleged ball-tampering against his players, and was upset he had to do so in the build-up to such a big game.
"It is disappointing because we have a huge game, a quarter-final must-win, and there are a lot of headlines about the wrong stuff," said Giles.
"With the situation the other day, the ball was changed because it had gone out of shape. We asked the question, the captain asked that question to the umpires which he has a right to. The ball was changed, the rest is history."
Daniel Vettori returned to action for New Zealand and looked a bit stiff at times against Australia, but there are no reports that he is in danger of being unavailable for selection.
