India vs Australia
India win by 6 wickets (with 2 balls to spare). The Man of the Match is Yuvraj Singh. No surprises there.
Over 20 - Ind 202/4. Yuvraj 77 (35) Dhoni 24 (21)
Over 20 - Ind 202/4. A single off the first, but Dhoni misses a flashing drive off the second. The third is full but wide of off and Dhoni crashes it through the covers to raise the 200. It is almost another boundary off the fourth ball, but the fielder has to move far enough and the Indian pair run the two they need to seal victory with 2 balls to spare. Yuvraj Singh was superb in his comeback match
Over 19 - Ind 195/4. Yuvray 76 (34) Dhoni 18 (18)
Over 19 - Ind 195/4. Just 8 in that over, and India need 7 off the final over. Faulkner finishes with 0-36, but India can sense victory. Watson has the task of denying them victory.
Over 18 - Ind 187/4. Yuvraj 70 (31) Dhoni 16 (13)
Over 18 - Ind 187/4. Coulter-Nile is going wide outside off to keep Yuvraj quiet. It is a questionable tactic as he bowls a wide and is then laced through the covers. He ends the over with a full toss, which ends up somewhere in the crowd beyond deep mid wicket. 14 off the over and India need 15 off the last 12 balls. After a tidy start, Coulter-Nile ends with 1-44.
Over 17 - Ind 173/4. Yuvraj 59 (27) Dhoni 14 (13)
Over 17 - Ind 173/4. Yuvraj goes to his 50 with a beautiful straight six off just 25 balls. He slog sweeps the next over mid wicket and just clears deep mid wicket. Just to make things worse, Faulkner sprays one down leg side for 5 wides. They can afford a dot off the last ball. 20 taken, India need 29 off 18.
Over 16 - Ind 153/4. Yuvraj 47 (23) Dhoni 12 (11)
Over 16 - Ind 153/4. Some luck for Australia as Doherty fields off his own bowling and attempts a direct hit only for the umpire to do the back up fielding and prevent overthrows. Yuvraj will not be denied though, clubbing a shorter ball through mid wicket to bring up the 150. 49 needed off 24 now.
Over 15 - Ind 146/4. Yuvraj 42 (20) Dhoni 11 (8)
Over 15 - Ind 146/4. India need another 56 off the last 30 balls. Yuvraj is looking in superb touch as he strokes two more boundaries.
Over 14 - Ind 133/4. Yuvraj 31 (15) Dhoni 10 (7)
Over 14 - Ind 133/4. A big over for India as they add 18. Yuvraj hit two sixes, but was almost out on the second as Watson just touched the boundary in attempting the catch. McKay finishes with 2-50.
Over 13 - Ind 115/4. Yuvraj 14 (11) Dhoni 9 (5)
Over 13 - Ind 115/4. Dhoni steps back and lashes one over extra cover, but is the only boundary that Watson will allow. India need plenty of boundaries now.
Over 12 - Ind 106/4. Yuvraj 13 (9) Dhoni 1 (1)
Over 12 - Ind 106/4. WICKET! McKay is back and Kohli goes after his as well, but this time he is taken just inside the long on boundary. Kohli c Faulkner b McKay 20 (22). Yuvraj tickles the next ball just wide of the keeper to the boundary. A clever slower ball produces the most inelegant of swipes to end the over.
Over 11 - Ind 100/3. Kohli 29 (21) Yuvraj 8 (5)
Over 11 - Ind 100/3. Kohli starts the over positively by clearing the ropes with a straight drive. Doherty keeps his nerve and gives up just four more runs in the over with some tight bowling.
Over 10 - Ind 91/3. Kohli 20 (15) Yuvraj 8 (5)
Over 10 - Ind 91/3. Coulter-Nile returns to the attack and produced a tidy over. Half-way through the overs but India are still less than half-way to the target. Good news for them is that Yuvraj is showing some of his trademark timing. India have missed him.
Over 9 - Ind 83/3. Kohli 18 (12) Yuvraj 2 (2)
Over 9 - Ind 83/3. WICKET! Dhawan carves Doherty's shorter ball past point for four, but dances down the track to the arm ball and is stranded as Haddin whips off the bails. Advantage Australia again. Dhawan st Haddin b Doherty 32 (19).
Over 8 - Ind 74/2. Dhawan 28 (17) Kohli 16 (10)
Over 8 - Ind 74/2. Henriques into the attack and gets pummelled for three boundaries in that over. The last should have been saved by Faulkner. The momentum is swinging towards India, but there is a long way to go still.
Over 7 - Ind 59/2. Dhawan 24 (16) Kohli 5 (5)
Over 7 - Ind 59/2. Faulkner mixes up his pace and will be happy to restrict the Indians to six singles in that over. The asking rate is now touching 11.
Over 6 - Aus 53/2. Dhawan 21 (13) Kohli 2 (2)
Over 6 - Ind 53/2. WICKET! Raina brought up the 50 with a neat flick over fine leg, but he then toe-ends one straight up to mid wicket off the next ball. Raina c Watson b Coulter-Nile 19 (13). He is deceptively quick, this young Australian
Over 5 - Ind 44/1. Dhawan 20 (12) Raina 13 (10)
Over 5 - Ind 44/1. A better over for Australia as Faulkner enters the attack with an injection of pace. Just a few singles there.
Over 4 - Ind 39/1. Dhawan 18 (10) Raina 12 (6)
Over 4 - Ind 39/1. India have just about caught up with the asking rate as Dhawan starts using his feet to McKay and hits tow elegant boundaries. Raina follows up with a handsome cover drive.
Over 3 - Ind 25/1. Dhawan 9 (6) Raina 7 (4)
Over 3 - Ind 25/1. Boundaries in contrasting style as Watson continues. Dhawan gloved a short ball just out of reach of Haddin while Raina was all timing as he flicked another leg side delivery wide of fine leg.
Over 2 - Ind 14/1. Dhawan 3 (3) Raina 2 (1)
Over 2 - Ind 14/1. WICKET! Sharma started the over with a sweetly timed flick into the crowd, but he nicks off attempting a lusty drive a few balls later. R Sharma c Haddin b McKay 8 (8). Dhawan had better luck, a thick edge landing just short of third man.
Over 1 - Ind 2/0. R Sharma 1 (5) Dhawan 0 (1)
Over 1 - Ind 2/0. Excellent start by Watson, beating Rohit Sharma's outside edge twice and giving up just a single and a wide. Dhawan timed his first ball nicely but straight to a fielder.
Over 20 - Aus 201/7 Coulter-Nile 12 (11) Faulkner 10 (5)
Over 20 - Aus 201/5. Ishant Sharma fires in those yorkers, but Faulkner got under the last one and belted it over long on for six to take the total past 200. Finch hit a glorious 89, with support from Maddinson (34) and Maxwell (27). An even bigger score looked on the cards, but Kumar and Vinay Kumar pulled things back nicely, each finishing with three wickets while Jadeja went at less than a run a ball. Still, India need to go at over ten to the over from ball 1.
Over 19 - Aus 190/7. Coulter-Nile 7 (7) Faulkner 3 (3)
Over 19 - Aus 190/7. Vinay Kumar looks for the yorkers to good effect, despite conceding a boundary to one that was a bit too wide. An excellent return for him with 3-25.
Over 18 - Aus 182/7. Coulter-Nile 2 (3) Faulkner 1 (1)
Over 18 - Aus 180/7. WICKET! Kumar will also claim a third wicket as he scoops up an easy catch to Yuvraj at point, who almosst lets it slip through his fingers. Kumar finishes his spell with 3-35.
Over 17 - Aus 176/6. Henriques 8 (8) Coulter-Nile 1 (2)
Over 17 - Aus 176/6. WICKET! Finch goes to a full toss. He could have hit it anywhere, but ti went back to the left of Vinay Kumar at a comfortable height. It still took some catching though, and the bowler, who now has 3 wickets to his name, needs some work on the fingers. Finch c and b Vinay Kumar 89 (52), with 14 fours and a six.
Over 16 - Aus 172/5. Finch 88 (50) Henriques 6 (6)
Over 16 - Aus 172/5. Finch continues to take full toll on the Indian bowling, picking off the boundaries at will. Ishant Sharma did fight back well though after both of the opening deliveries flashed away to the rope.
Over 15 - Aus 157/5. Finch 74 (45) Henriques 5 (5)
Over 15 - Aus 157/5. Another good over from Jadeja to keep Finch quiet. Jadeja finishes his work with the ball with a credible return of 1-23 in his four overs.
Over 14 - Aus 151/5. Finch 72 (43) Henriques 1 (1)
Over 14 - Aus 151/5 WICKET! An expansive but expensive drive for Haddin as a thick edge carries comfortably to Dhoni behind the stumps. Haddin c Dhoni b Kumar 5 (3). No sweat for Finch though, as he crashes a back of a length delivery between long on and deep mid wicket to take the total past 150.
Over 13 - Aus 143/4. Finch 65 (39) Haddin 5 (2)
Over 13 - Aus 143/4. Finch continues to march on in style, taking another couple of boundaries off Kohli's gentle medium pace. He looks set for another T20 century, and his form has been a revelation.
Over 12 - Aus 129/4. Finch 54 (34) Haddin 4 (1)
Over 12 - Aus 129/4. WICKET! Maxwell's whirlwind innings comes to an end as he finds the tall Ishant Sharma on the long on boundary. Just an inch or two higher would have been enough, as the umpires first satisfy themselves that Sharma did not touch the boundary in completing the catch. Maxwell c I Sharma b Jadeja 27 (13). Haddin is off the mark with a well timed steer from his first ball.
Over 11 - Aus 124/3. Finch 53 (32) Finch 27 (10)
Over 11 - Aus 124/3. Dhoni is forced to roll the dice and gives the ball to Kohli. Not a bad over, but Maxwell did slog him once over mid wicket for the maximum.
Over 10 - Aus 114/3. Finch 50 (29) Maxwell 20 (7)
Over 10 - Aus 114/3. A huge over there as Ashwin goes for 24. An elegant boundary off the first ball took Finch to his 50 off 29 balls, and Maxwell followed up with three huge sixes. He almost gave it away off the last ball with a pretty ordinary reverse sweep almost bowling him.
Over 9 - Aus 90/3. Finch 46 (28) Maxwell 2 (2)
Over 9 - Aus 90/3. Another good over for Jadeja, just giving up a few singles. A six and six singles in two overs, the left arm spinner will be happy with that.
Over 8 - Aus 86/3. Finch 44 (24) Maxwell 0 (0)
Over 8 - Aus 86/3. DOUBLE WICKET! Vinay Kumar is back and dimisses Watson. There might have been a bit of an inside edge, but the umpire thinks not. Watson lbw b Vinay Kumar 6 (5). Bailey is the new batsman, but does not long as he goes for the pull early on and is taken at deep mid wicket. Bailey c Jadeja b Vinay Kumar 0 (3). Maxwell out in the middle now.
Over 7 - Aus 82/1. Finch 41 (22) Watson 6 (4)
Over 7 - Aus 82/1. Jadeja enters the attack and produces a tight over. Pity about the one where Finch came forward and lashed it over extra cover and into the crowd.
Over 6 - Aus 74/1. Finch 34 (18) Watson 5 (2)
Over 6 - Aus 74/1. Another big over ends the PowerPlay. Finch continues to drive powerfully, but one of those boundaries did come off the thick outside edge and was misfielded at point. Ishant Sharma is looking distraught underneath his long locks.
Over 5 - Aus 60/1. Finch 21 (13) Watson 4 (1)
Over 5 - Aus 60/1. WICKET! Maddinson misses the slower ball as Kumar returns to the attack and dries up the runs for a few balls. The previous ball was played elegantly to the point boundary, but that was it for the debutant. Maddinson b Kumar 34 (16). Watson starts with a boundary to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Over 4 - Aus 48/0. Finch 19 (11) Maddinson 29 (13)
Over 4 - Aus 48/0. Ishant Sharma's turn to get pasted, as his first ball disappears way over the mid wicket boundary. The second went for four, but he did well to give up just two singles off the next four balls.
Over 3 - Aus 36/0. Finch 18 (10) Maddinson 18 (8)
Over 3 - Aus 36/0. Ashwin is into the attack early on, but is taken for four boundaries in his first over. The Australians are using their feet nicely here, and the boundaries are flowing in all directions.
Over 2 - Aus 19/0. Finch 6 (6) Maddinson 13 (6)
Over 2 - Aus 19/0. Maddinson hits another lofted off drive, but also gets a thick edge to third man for another boundary. He has played and missed a few times as Vinay Kumar takes up the attack.
Over 1 Aus 9/0. Finch 5 (4) Maddinson 4 (2)
Over 1 - Aus 9/0. Some early movement for Kumar, but both batsmen responded with well timed boundaries straight down the ground.

India win toss and field first
India have won the toss and will field first. There might be something in the pitch after it has been under the covers for a while. There is a possibility of rain. Nick Maddinson makes his international debut for Australia, while Yuvraj Singh makes a welcome return after a lenghty break for ill health.
