County champions Warwickshire pressed home their advantage on day two of their season curtain-raiser against the MCC to establish a commanding position.
Having extended their overnight 370-3 to a formidable 561-6 declared they then reduced their opponents to 73-7.
Chris Wright did most of the damage with 4-23 off 14 overs, including dismissing Dale Benkenstein, Dawid Malan and Peter Trego all for nought in the space of nine deliveries.
Only Jimmy Adams (20) and Joe Denly (19) looked like making any impression with a second-wicket stand of 32 before the latter retired hurt.
Adams' resistance was ended by Wright to make the score 50-5 and there was little chance of a recovery from that point.
Warwickshire's Laurie Evans (72) and James Troughton (54) were able to freely build on the platform given to them by big centuries for Varum Chopra and Will Porterfield on the first day.
The pair put on 111 for the fourth wicket but even when they were separated by the dismissal of Troughton the lower order helped add another brisk 100 runs.
Tim Ambrose hit 31 off 35 balls, Rikki Clarke 21 off 30 and Ateeq Javid 25 off 42 as the MCC bowlers were made to toil at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
