David Hussey powered Nottinghamshire Outlaws to a seven-wicket win over Group C leaders Warwickshire Bears in the Clydesdale Bank 40.
Hussey hit 34 not out off 12 balls to see the Outlaws to a target of 82 in a match reduced to 16 overs per side due to afternoon rain at Trent Bridge.
After Chris Woakes removed Alex Hales (4) in the first over of the run chase, Ally Brown and Samit Patel put on 40 in under five overs to ensure Nottinghamshire were always well in control of the required rate.
Woakes (2-20) dismissed Brown (14) and Imran Tahir (1-13) had Patel (25) stumped but Hussey smashed three fours and three sixes to ensure the home side raced across the line with a full eight overs remaining.
The Outlaws are now just one point behind the Bears in Group C and have played a game less.
Earlier, Warwickshire struggled to a total of 81-6 after being asked to bat when play finally got under way 7.40pm.
Ryan Sidebottom exploited the juicy conditions superbly to record figures of 1-12 from four overs with only Rikki Clarke (20) and Ian Westwood (23no) making any impression for the visitors.
