Hyderabad win by 32 runs
At the innings break, it looked like a low score, after Hyderabad had collapsed for 134. But then their bowling brought them back into the game and Royals were bowled out for 102, Steyn, Bhuvi, Karn Sharma, Irfan Pathan and Amit Mishra all bowling well together. The catching and fielding was brilliant too. Hyderabad win by 32 runs and defend a low total.
Over 20 - RR 102/10 (Kulkarni 7)
A couple of singles to start the over and then a couple of dots, Pathan to bowl the final over. WICKET! Tambe chips the length ball to Steyn at long-off and it is all over for Rajasthan. Hyderabad win by 32 runs.
Over 19 - RR 100/9 (Kulkarni 6, Tambe 2)
One wicket remaining, Steyn comes in to bowl his last over. Tambe and Kulkarni at the crease. A single to start the over, then Kulkarni edges one and it goes over point for four. A couple of wides from Steyn, and then a couple of singles to end the over.

Bhuvi comes into the attack, WICKET! Faulkner goes out trying to hit the ball, Finch runs in to take a neat catch. WICKET! Bhatia goes out, two wickets in two balls, Warner takes a simple catch at deep midwicket, Royals are falling apart now. Richardson comes in to bat, and avoids the hat trick. A couple of singles and then WICKET! Hyderabad's catching today has been superb, Richardson swings at this and hits it high in the air, Bhuvi runs back to take a good catch.

Karn starts his last over, five singles from the over. The required rate climbs to over 15 runs per over.
Over 16 - RR 84/6 (Faulkner 1, Bhatia 2)
Steyn comes back into the attack, WICKET! Steyn strikes, Pathan takes an excellent catch to get rid of Smith. Smith top edges it and Irfan runs backwards and takes it comfortably. A couple of singles to end the over.
Over 15 - RR 81/5 (Bhatia 1, Smith 22)
56 runs needed from 6 overs, Mishra comes in to bowl after the time out. A couple of singles from the over, the required rate is 10.8 per over.
Over 14 - RR 79/5 (Bhatia 0, Smith 21)
Irfan comes into the attack, Smith drives the first ball through midwicket for a couple of runs. A couple of singles and then WICKET! A run out, Smith hits the ball to deep midwicket and wants a second run. Warner attacks the ball, picks it up and hits the stump directly and Binny is way way out. Good fielding from Warner. Bhatia comes out to bat.

The required rate is over 8 per over now, Mishra continues. A single to start the over and then a couple of dots. Binny pushes the ball to long-on for a couple of runs. Three runs from the over.

Henriques comes into the attack, Binny flicks it on the leg side for a couple of runs. Four singles to end the over, 6 runs from it.
Over 11 - RR 64/4 (Binny 5, Smith 13)
A couple of dots and then four singles to end the over, Mishra finishes his second over. He has been economical today. The asking rate is 7.88 per over.

Smith hits the first ball past short fine leg for a couple of runs. Four byes, a stumping chance missed and the ball goes for four. A couple of singles and then Smith pushes it to midwicket for a couple of runs. A single to end the over, 11 runs from the over.

A couple of runs to start the over, Karn Sharma comes into the attack. Watson hits the first ball to deep square leg. Three singles from the next three balls. WICKET! Watson makes his way to the crease. A single and then a wide. Three runs to end the over, 5 runs from it.

Six, incredible shot from Samson, he hits Steyn for a six. It was fast and Samson hit through the line of the ball and over long-off for a six. and then follows it up with a single from the next ball. Four, Nair punches it superbly through the covers for four, good shot from him. WICKET! Steyn gets the wicket, Nair pokes at a fast and swinging delivery and edges it to the keeper.
Over 3 - RR 16/1 (Samson 7, Nair 8)
Bhuvi into his second over, a couple of dots to start the over. A quick single and Nair would have been out if there was a direct hit. A good over is ruined with a poor last ball. Nair is ready for the ball that comes in, he guides it through midwicket for four.
Over 2 - RR 11/1 (Samson 6, Nair 4)
Steyn from the other end, good start for the Sunrisers so far. Samson goes for the drive and misses it completely, good outswinger from Steyn. Four, the next ball goes for four, Samson chips it over mid-off to get a boundary. A single brings Nair on strike. Four, poor line from Steyn to end the over and Nair flicks it fine on the leg side for four.
Over 1 - RR 2/1 (Samson 1, Nair 0)
Bhuvi to start the proceedings for Sunrisers, Rahane and Nair come out to bat. WICKET! Rahane plays away from his body and it is a loose shot, he hits it straight to Warner at point and Bhuvi gets the wicket. A wide as Samson walks out to bat, Bhuvi bowls it wide outside off stump. A couple of runs from the over.
Over 20 - SRH 134/9 (Pathan 21, B Kumar 0)
Faulkner to bowl the last over, Pathan slices the first ball behind point for a couple of runs. WICKET! This is far too wide, but Pathan decides to run a bye, Steyn has to sacrifice his wicket as Samson hits the stumps. Four byes, beautiful yorker from Faulkner, but even the keeper can't stop it and it goes for four. WICKET! Mishra is out, the batsmen try to run a bye again as Mishra misses the ball, the keeper misses the stumps, then Faulkner misses the stumps and then the keeper hits the stumps and Mishra is run out. A comedy of errors but Rajasthan get a wicket. Four, Pathan ends the innings with a boundary. Hyderabad end on 134 for 9.

Pathan takes a single to bring Steyn on strike. Richardson bowls it full and Steyn hits it over point for four. 7 from the over.

A quick over from Faulkner, four runs from it.
Over 17 - SRH 111/7 (Pathan 12, Steyn 1)
WICKET! Henriques is out, Watson comes back into the attack and takes a wicket, he has a knack of doing that. Henriques hit it flat towards long-off and Rahane takes another good catch. WICKET! Karn Sharma walks in, it is the angled ball from Watson and Karn edges it to the keeper, Watson on a hat trick. Steyn walks out to bat and avoids the hat trick, Ahmedabad is proving to be lucky for the Royals. Four, Pathan hits the last ball for four, hits it through slip.

Richardson back into the attack. Pathan drives it through extra cover for a couple of runs. A couple of singles to end the over, the run rate has dropped to 6.62 per over.
Over 15 - SRH 102/5 (Pathan 5, Henriques 9)
Faulkner comes back into the attack, a couple of singles and then Henriques comes out of the crease and hits the ball straight past the bowler for four. That brings the 100 up for Hyderabad.

Tambe finishes his spell of 4 overs, 1 wicket for 21 runs. Bhatia and Tambe have 4 wickets and 44 runs from 8 overs in between them.
Over 13 - SRH 91/5 (Pathan 2, Henriques 3)
Three singles to start the over and then WICKET! Bhatia takes another wicket and Ojha falls. This is the slow legcutter, Ojha tries to steer it down to third man but he misses it and loses his off stump. Irfan Pathan comes in to bat. A couple of runs to end the over, Hyderabad struggling at 91 for 5.
Over 12 - SRH 86/4 (N Ojha 16, Henriques 1)
Warner takes a single from the first ball, Ojha comes down the wicket and hits the next ball for four straight over the bowler. Ojha drives the full delivery hard but only a single as it goes straight to long off. WICKET! Tambe strikes, and Warner is out. Tambe tosses it up and Warner takes the bait, it is the googly which turns away from him and the keeper does the rest. The plan of sending Warner in the middle order has been neutralized. Henriques walks out to bat.

Bhatia starts his third over, just five singles from the over. Hyderabad 79 for 3 after 11.
Over 10 - SRH 76/3 (N Ojha 10, Warner 3)
Tambe continues into his second over, he starts with a wide. Then he drifts on the pads and Ojha pushes it to deep backward square leg for a couple of runs. Four singles to end the over, the run rate is 7.4 now.
Over 9 - SRH 67/3 (N Ojha 5)
Three singles to start the over, Bhatia and Tambe have done a good containing job for Rajasthan. Rahul drives the ball to wide long-off for a couple of runs. WICKET! Bhatia picks up another wicket, it is the slower ball outside off, Rahul goes for the sweep and misses the ball completely and is bowled.
Over 8 - SRH 61/2 (Rahul 14, N Ojha 3)
Tambe comes into the attack. Ojha drives it to long-on for a single. Tambe is getting the ball to drift into the batsmen. A couple of singles and then a single to end the over. Good start by Tambe.
Over 7 - SRH 57/2 (Rahul 12, N Ojha 1)
Rahul hits the first ball of the over for a single. Four, Finch hits his first boundary, it was a big slow from Bhatia and Finch hits it through long-on. WICKET! Bhatia strikes in his first over, Finch hits it towards the deep midwicket boundary and Rahane runs in to take a brilliant catch. Naman Ojha comes out to bat.

Faulkner comes into the attack to bowl the last over of the power play. Four singles from the over. Sunrisers 50 for 1 in the power play.
Over 5 - SRH 46/1 (Rahul 8, FInch 4)
Kulkarni comes back into the attack, Finch takes a single from the first ball. Four, Rahul hits the first ball he faces to the straight boundary, poor fielding by mid-on. Four more, Rahul leant forward into the drive and caresses it through point and cover for four. 9 from the over.

Watson brings himself on to bowl the 4th over. Finch gets a leg bye to bring Dhawan on strike. Four, Dhawan is batting well today, he comes down the pitch and hits Watson straight down the ground for four. Another boundary, smart cricket from Dhawan, he hooks the ball over short fine leg for four more. WICKET! Watson strikes for Rajasthan and gets the danger man. Dhawan plays it on to his stumps, it was too close to cut. 9 runs and the wicket from the over.

Richardson to Finch, who takes a single from the first ball to get off the mark. Five singles from the first five balls and then Dhawan hits the last ball to the boundary for four.
Over 2 - SRH 19/0 (Dhawan 19, FInch 0)
Dhawal Kulkarni comes in from the other end. A dot to start and then Dhawan hits it through the covers for four, brilliant shot. Dhawan stays in his crease and punches the ball through to deep point for a couple of runs. Dhawan finds the gap through backward point again and the result is four more.

Richardson starts with the ball for Rajasthan, Dhawan on strike with Finch at the other end. Dhawan gets a thick outside edge on the first ball and it goes for four to third man. A couple of dots and then Watson brings fine leg and third man inside the circle. A bit of room outside off and Dhawan cuts it powerfully through the off side for four. 9 runs from the first over.
Two changes for Sunrisers - Henriques and Mishra come in for Sammy and Ishant. Royals have also made two changes - Kulkarni and Richardson replace Tewatia and Southee.
